Day 14....This particular morning was a was a busy one for us and I had to work in the afternoon. We have been working on some big projects outside this summer. We are adding a chicken coop this year and the kids will be helping us raise chickens for eggs. We are also getting some goats. We have been updating our shed and have a lot of painting and other things to do, so Dad asked if the kids would like to help paint.
Today we started to paint the lattice that Dad and Grandpa Terry put up...
Day 15....LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR CHASYN!!! Woo Hoo :)
We had a lot of things to do today so we were very busy all day, and this is the first day of my 3-day weekend. We did a lot of running around town, shopping, and some fun activities too. It's going to be a hot weekend they say, and we're already feeling it. All they want to do is swim, but we've got things to do. First things first, we pick up Chasyn from school at 12:37 pm (he had early release today).
On to the next..... We have some lunch, stop at one last store, then we head home. Kids are swimming and I am entertained by Sawyer, as usual.
Since it's such a nice night, we decide to have a watermelon eating contest. The kids are dying to play some video games because they haven't touched one in a couple days. I figured it would be a fun way to "win" some time on them. After supper we head outside to start the contest...First up: Lane vs Maisy
