Day 10: Decorate Picture Frames (Sunday June 3rd)

Today we decorated picture frames. This was such an inexpensive, fun, easy activity.  You can take old picture frames or just go to the dollar store and get a variety of frames (that's what we did). We bought some decorations and gathered things we had at home and with a little hot glue and creativity we made some pretty cool frames.

We had so many ideas that we had to each just pick one and stick with it.  The things you can do with these frames are endless.  You can use things from around the house or make themed frames. I thought this was such a cool idea. Maisy and I have a lot of ideas for more "girly" frames I think we will end up making more at another time. These also make great gifts, so I think we have some ideas for Christmas, Birthdays, and Back-to-School :)

With Dalton's frame, we incorporated the three "fairy stones" we found out at Hobb's Woods.  I thought that was a cool idea, so when someone asks why the three stones in the middle are different color, we can tell them about the fairy stone hunt we had this summer, or even take the pictures we took from the fairy stone hunt and add them to the frame.
